Service Terms & Conditions

These Service Terms & Conditions ("Terms") outline the agreement between you ("Client") and Handy Jack LLC ("Company", "we", "us") regarding junk removal, debris hauling, bulk item pickup, property cleanouts, free qualifying scrap metal pickup, and related operational relief services.

By requesting service, submitting an estimate form, texting photos, scheduling an appointment, paying a deposit, or authorizing work to begin, Client acknowledges and agrees to these Terms.

1. Services & Pricing

Handy Jack LLC provides junk removal, debris hauling, bulk item pickup, property cleanout, construction debris haul-off, yard debris removal, scrap metal pickup, and related operational relief services throughout the Oklahoma City metro area and selected nearby routes.

Public pricing ranges, online estimate results, text estimates, and phone estimates are guide pricing only. Final pricing depends on the actual job scope, including ZIP/service area, service lane, load size, material type, access, labor, disposal requirements, route distance, and photos or information provided by Client.

The standard service minimum is generally $125+ for regular junk removal pickups. Qualifying small jobs in core service areas may start lower, and certain manual-review routes, commercial jobs, cleanouts, or heavy-debris jobs may require a higher minimum or custom quote.

Handy Jack LLC uses a trailer-based pricing structure tied to the Company's 10ร—5ร—4 utility trailer, along with labor, material, access, disposal, and service-area factors.

Certain materials may incur additional charges due to weight, density, route fit, or disposal requirements, including but not limited to dirt, concrete, brick, tile, roofing materials, construction debris, heavy appliances, refrigerant items, and dense/heavy loads.

2. Estimates, Photos & Final Quotes

Estimates provided through photos, calls, texts, online forms, estimator tools, or public pricing pages are preliminary and used for planning, routing, and scheduling purposes.

Final pricing is confirmed before loading begins based on:

  • Total trailer volume used
  • Material density and weight
  • ZIP code and service area
  • Selected service lane or job type
  • Accessibility and loading conditions
  • Labor required to safely remove items
  • Disposal class, landfill/recycling requirements, or special handling needs
  • Whether the actual job matches the photos, form submission, or original description

The Company may adjust any estimate if the actual job scope differs from the information originally provided. Any price adjustment will be communicated before work begins.

3. Quote ID & Photo Submission Policy

Clients are encouraged to text clear photos before booking. Photos should show the full load, pile, room, access path, stairs, driveway, curbside location, and any heavy, bulky, or special items.

If Client receives a quote ID or ticket number, Client should include that quote ID when texting photos, requesting changes, or booking service. Quote IDs help match form submissions, photos, text messages, and scheduling details.

Photos help reduce confusion and improve estimate accuracy, but photo review does not replace final on-site scope confirmation.

4. Service Lanes & Job Reclassification

Handy Jack LLC may classify or reclassify a job based on the actual work required. Service lanes may include residential junk removal, business/contractor work, property cleanouts, construction debris, yard debris, recurring service, and free qualifying scrap metal pickup.

If Client selects a service lane that does not match the actual job, the Company may reclassify the job and adjust pricing before work begins.

Examples include:

  • Free scrap selected, but the load contains furniture, mattresses, trash, or mixed junk
  • Few-item pickup selected, but the job is actually a room, garage, rental, or property cleanout
  • Standard junk removal selected, but the load contains dense construction debris or heavy material
  • Curbside pickup selected, but items are located upstairs, inside, behind a gate, or far from the truck

5. Free Scrap Metal Pickup Terms

Free scrap metal pickup only applies to qualifying straight scrap metal. Free scrap pickup is not the same as free junk removal.

Items that may qualify include:

  • Washers and dryers
  • Metal shelving and metal racks
  • Metal bed frames
  • Grills
  • Metal pipes, poles, and small metal-only piles
  • Non-refrigerated metal appliances

Items that do not qualify for free scrap pickup include:

  • Refrigerators and freezers
  • Air conditioning units or refrigerant-containing items
  • Mixed junk loads
  • Furniture and mattresses
  • Trash bags or dump material
  • Hazardous or restricted materials

Mixed loads follow standard junk removal pricing. Handy Jack LLC may decline, reclassify, or separately quote a load that does not qualify as straight scrap metal.

6. Scheduling & Availability

Service appointments are scheduled based on operational availability, route fit, job size, labor needs, disposal requirements, and weather/site conditions.

Handy Jack LLC may operate on a recurring service rhythm, with additional days available depending on workload. Availability is not guaranteed until the Company confirms the service window.

Arrival times are provided as estimated service windows, not guaranteed appointment times.

If the Company arrives and:

  • the Client is unavailable,
  • the service location cannot be accessed,
  • the job is not ready,
  • the job scope differs substantially from the estimate, or
  • the job is unsafe, restricted, or not serviceable as described,

a $50 trip fee may apply.

7. Manual Review & Service Area Terms

Some ZIP codes, outer routes, rural areas, commercial sites, large cleanouts, or special disposal jobs require manual confirmation before booking.

Manual-review estimates are not locked bookings until Handy Jack LLC confirms availability, route fit, job scope, access, and pricing.

Outer service areas may require travel adjustments, higher minimums, deposit requirements, or special scheduling.

8. Deposits

Larger jobs, long-distance runs, cleanouts, same-day priority requests, commercial jobs, manual-review routes, or peak-day bookings may require a deposit.

Deposits are applied directly to the final invoice or balance unless otherwise stated. Deposits help reserve scheduling time, route capacity, and labor availability.

Deposits may be non-refundable if Client cancels within 24 hours of the appointment, is unavailable at arrival, blocks access, or materially changes the job after scheduling.

9. Cancellations, No-Shows & Rescheduling

Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the appointment generally incur no cancellation fee. Cancellations within 24 hours may result in a cancellation charge or deposit forfeiture.

No-shows, blocked access, unsafe job sites, or unavailable Clients may result in a minimum service fee, trip fee, rescheduling requirement, or deposit forfeiture.

10. Payment Terms

Payment is due immediately upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Accepted payment methods may include:

  • Cash
  • Major credit or debit cards
  • Approved mobile payment services
  • Approved invoice arrangements for commercial or recurring accounts

Invoices not settled within seven (7) days may be considered delinquent and may be subject to late fees, service suspension, or collection actions permitted under Oklahoma law.

11. Special Disposal & Restricted Items

Certain items require additional disposal fees, special routing, or review due to landfill, recycling, weight, or handling requirements. These may include:

  • Mattresses and box springs
  • Tires
  • Electronics
  • Construction debris
  • Concrete, dirt, brick, tile, or dense/heavy debris
  • Refrigerators, freezers, AC units, or refrigerant-containing items

Handy Jack LLC does not accept hazardous materials, including chemicals, fuel, propane tanks, asbestos, biohazard waste, explosives, ammunition, wet paint, uncontained liquids, or unsafe/restricted materials.

These restrictions align with guidance from the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality .

Client assumes responsibility for any fines, penalties, rejected loads, cleanup costs, or damages resulting from undisclosed hazardous, restricted, or improperly described materials.

12. Access & Job Preparation

Client must provide safe and reasonable access to all items scheduled for removal.

Additional labor charges or price adjustments may apply if:

  • carry distances exceed approximately 50 feet,
  • multiple flights of stairs are involved,
  • items require disassembly,
  • access paths are obstructed,
  • parking is unavailable or restricted,
  • items are located upstairs, behind gates, in tight spaces, or far from the truck, or
  • the work area is unsafe or not as described.

The Company is not responsible for items mistakenly removed if they were placed within the designated disposal area by Client or Client's representative.

13. Risk & Liability

Handy Jack LLC exercises reasonable care and maintains appropriate business practices. However, moving heavy or bulky materials carries inherent risks.

The Company is not responsible for pre-existing damage to structures, landscaping, driveways, flooring, walls, gates, fences, stairs, or other property surfaces.

Damage claims must be submitted in writing with photographs within 48 hours of service completion.

14. Weather & Site Conditions

Severe weather, unsafe debris conditions, blocked access, extreme heat, lightning, high winds, hazardous job sites, or conditions that present safety risks may require service to be rescheduled.

The Company reserves the right to postpone, reschedule, reprice, or decline service if conditions present safety risks to personnel, equipment, Client property, or the public.

15. Local Disposal Regulations

Certain disposal practices are governed by local municipal regulations. For more information, please refer to the City of Oklahoma City trash and recycling guidelines .

Disposal site acceptance rules may change. Handy Jack LLC may decline or reprice items that cannot be accepted at the expected disposal or recycling location.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma .

Any legal disputes shall be resolved within the jurisdiction of courts located in Oklahoma County, Oklahoma.

17. Acceptance of Terms

By requesting service, submitting an estimate request, texting photos, scheduling an appointment, paying a deposit, allowing Handy Jack LLC to arrive on site, or authorizing work to begin, Client acknowledges and agrees to these Terms & Conditions in full.
